Chet, You and were best friends since elementary school at Whittier; we lived right across the street from each other on Morningside Avenue.  I especially remember the many hikes we took together in the woods and pastures north of Morningside, most of which is no longer woods and pasture.  Thank you for your service to our country in your distinguished career with the U.S. Navy.  May God grant you eternal rest.

Always your friend,

John Eidsmoe

I grew up with Chet.  Our families were good friends.  Chet and I were babies together...in those pictures our moms took.  Our dads were hunting and fishing buddies.  Our families went to Stalker Lake in MN fishing.  We had some fun times as teenagers, too.  Chet had lots of neat interests.  He was an excellent photographer.  Chet was in the Navy...something he always said he would do, like his dad.  He and his wife Marsha raised 3 wonderful kids.

I miss Chet.
