JOAN ELIZABETH MADISON, 50, Trafalgar Place, Longwood, died Monday, Sept. 11. Ms. Madison was a retired nurse for Humana Heath Care of Maitland. Born in Sioux City, Iowa, she moved to Central Florida in 1989. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Orlando, Orlando Single Square Dance Club and Universal Singles Club of Orlando. Survivors: son, Brent, Red Bluff, Calif.; daughters, Kristen Kingsley, Red Bluff, Kim Skinner, Mineral, Calif.; brothers, Fred J. Burbach, Forest City, Thomas G. Burbach, Storm Lake, Iowa; sisters, LeAnn Uhing, Hardington, Neb., Della Rose Bruns, St. Paul, Minn.; six grandchildren. Carey Hand Cox-Parker Funeral Home, Winter Park.

Joan lived a couple blocks from me. We used to sneak out at night and hang around in the neighborhood. Even at that time she was interested in Brian Madison. Noticing the last name Madison, I am guessing that they may have stayed together. Some nice memories. Jade
